AS2: Task 2 - Ideas Generation

As a group we have created two potential advertisement ideas for our product of Lucozade Sport.

Idea 1

The form of my first advert is realism, as everything in the advert is actually happening, there is nothing out of the ordinary. The style for my advert is based on more sports as is about the actor doing football related drills. The actors does a series of drills at normal pace, but once he has finished them, he has a drink of Lucozade. Which gives the actor a massive energy boost, allowing him to to all the drills again but at a faster pace. The drills they are going to run are dribbling around some cones, then doing sprints, taking penalties / shots. After all that, the actor will look like they are tired and has a drink to make him improve. The target audience for this advert would be sports people roughly aged between 16-28, as we are trying to show that by drinking Lucozade it offers you a good boost of energy. I feel the advert appeals to our audience as we are doing activities of the worlds most popular sport.... football. Thus i feel that it will catch the peoples attention as it is based on football related activities. Our unique selling point of the advert is to advertise our sports drink which will help you regain energy when participating in sports.






Idea 2

The form of this advert is realism, as everything in the advert is actually happening, there is nothing out of the ordinary. The style for my advert is based on more sports as it is about the actors doing football related drills. Our advert has two actors, one drinking water and the other drinking Lucozade sport. They both do drills such as dribbling in and out of cones, sprinting and finally shooting but they are both even and cannot separate them. They then have their drinks again after doing the activities and the one who drinks the water begins to fall behind, the one who drank the Lucozade realises that he is tired, so he offers him his drink (Lucozade) to give him energy, they are then both even once again, they then both walk off into the distance drinking Lucozade. he target audience for this advert would be sports people roughly aged between 16-28, as we are trying to show that by drinking Lucozade it offers you a good boost of energy so you can perform at your best for longer periods of time. I feel our advert appeals to the audience as they are both doing a popular sport which people can relate to, also everything is actually happening and people would have felt like this at least once in their life while doing sports, so they will want to buy Lucozade sport so that doesn't happen to you.  Our unique selling point of the advert is to advertise our sports drink which will help you regain your energy more than water when participating in sports.



We would use a range of camera angles for both of our advert ideas such as close ups, mid-range shots, far away shot and also P.O.V (Point Of View) shots. The sounds we will use for our adverts will be upbeat to motivate the people and we will also use the real life sounds of our actors to emphasise the tiredness of the ones who drank water.
